(Tokyo Medical and Dental University) Clinicians from TMDU discovered a novel mode of transmission for human T-cell lymphotropic virus type-1 (HTLV-1). A patient with sudden blurred vision was diagnosed with HTLV-1 uveitis and underwent corticosteroid therapy over the course of several years with several recurrences.
